2. Hosting & server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes access data (IP address, time, retrieved file, data volume transferred, browser type) in server log files. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and stable delivery). Log files are deleted after a short period.

3. Newsletter “Türkistan Brief”

To receive the weekly brief we process your e-mail address and the time of sign-up on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Delivery is handled by the self-hosted, open-source newsletter software Listmonk (server located in the EU). You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue; every e-mail references this privacy notice. No disclosure to other third parties takes place.

4. Contact enquiries

When you contact us by e-mail, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Fonts

All fonts on this website are self-hosted. There are no connections to Google Fonts or other font services; no data is transferred to third parties.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
